ThinkGeek's Marvel & Firefly Exclusives

ThinkGeek Announces New Firefly and Marvel Products at San Diego Comic Con

Two Fandoms Spontaneously Squeal In Delight

FAIRFAX, Va., July 17, 2013 -- The mad minds at ThinkGeek have done it again. At booth #5541 at San Diego Comic-Con 2013, ThinkGeek has just unveiled three new GeekLabs products for attending press and visitors to see and experience. All of the products, two from Marvel and one from Fox's Firefly, can also be found online at www.thinkgeek.com.

For Browncoats and Firefly fans out in the 'Verse, ThinkGeek is proud to introduce the Kaylee Messenger Bag (www.thinkgeek.com/13f3). This unique bag is an officially licensed product and is based on the mechanic's jumpsuit worn by she who kept Serenity in the sky. From the color down to the details of the embroidered plush patches, the Kaylee Messenger Bag is a great way of subtly letting the world know that you ain't one of those Purple-Bellies. Look for it in October 2013 for $39.99.

The Iron Man LED Arc Reactor Ring (www.thinkgeek.com/f35e) will be available November of 2013 for $49.99 and features detailing straight from Tony Stark's own suit. With polished red and gold accents, the centerpiece of the ring is the touch-activated light-up LED Arc Reactor. JARVIS is not included, but the ring itself will be available in men's sizes 8, 10, and 12.

The second Marvel item, Electronic Tingling Spidey-Sense Shirt (www.thinkgeek.com/f0b1), comes straight from the pages of Spider-Man and gives wearers the power of Spidey-Sense. Thanks to ThinkGeek, average citizens can become their favorite web slinger without going through the hassle of being bit by a radioactive spider. The shirt features a built-in ultrasonic proximity sensor that warns you of danger approaching behind you. The Electronic Tingling Spidey-Sense Shirt will be available for $39.99 beginning in October of 2013.

These three items join the recently announced Tenth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver Universal Remote Control at ThinkGeek's booth #5541 at San Diego Comic-Con and on the website, www.thinkgeek.com.
