From an exclusive article at AICN:

Supposedly, everything that DCC will sell in stores will also be available on the web ... 'directly' Smile.

They're opening up the website in May with a few exclusives, including a Flashpoint Box set (with the unreleased Emperor Aquaman).

It's kind of a stretch for them to call it an exclusive, considering DC sent out the press release to their surely extensive press list.

Maybe I should start calling all of our news "exclusive" too?

Off topic but did DC Direct ever release those DC Universe Online figures? Did they ever formally cancel them? (Not counting the first time they canceled them before they re-solicited them.)

I wondered that too.
Apparently everything was recently cancelled and those have yet to be resolicited. The prospects of those coming out are grim, but they might show up later. As of now - nothing.

I had expected a new wave to be out yesterday. I forget who else was in it, but I wanted a pre-DCnC Flash and Wonder Woman with the blue pants. Now I can find no data at all. Were these moved back, canceled or what?

DC Collectibles has got me EXCITED! I have been worried about DC Direct's with its move to the West Coast and restructuring the past year and slimmer figure offerings for 2012, but with the announcement of a WEB STORE and the hints dropped at C2E2 panel of SEVERAL new figures coming and an extensive BACKLIST of figures available on the web store, DC Collectibles future looks BRIGHT! Now I cannot wait for SDCC! Watch out, Mattel!

Meaning to get that (poorly done, at least in the pictures shown) Aquaman, I'd have to get the box set minus the generous discount I'd normally get from my comic store that would make the price almost palatable. No thanks.
