LEGO Adds LEGO JUNIORS for Ages 4 to 6

LEGO® JUNIORS Joins the Playroom
-Iconic themes and age-appropriate building experiences tailored for young builders-

NEW YORK, Feb. 14, 2014 -- AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL TOY FAIR -- LEGO Systems, Inc., makers of the world's leading construction toys, today announced its newest addition to the LEGO® building system - LEGO JUNIORS. Designed specifically for children four to six years of age, LEGO JUNIORS are fun, age-appropriate building sets that provide children with a positive first building experience. Available in March, LEGO JUNIORS sets will range in price from $9.99 to $49.99.

"LEGO JUNIORS is tailor-made to help young builders gain confidence, whether they are transitioning from LEGO DUPLO® or just starting to build with classic LEGO bricks," said Michelle Wilson, senior brand manager, LEGO Systems, Inc. A Positive First-Time Building Experience
Easy-to-follow building instructions, colorful photos and playful guidance help to ensure a smooth transition to independent building. Quick start elements and modular bricks and elements, such as walls and archways, facilitate easy builds -- giving children out-of-the-box success. Storytelling and creative play is inspired by a variety of iconic themes from police to horse farm to super heroes.

What Will They Build First?
With 13 LEGO JUNIORS products debuting in 2014 there is a variety of themes and sets to inspire every child.

Classic themes such as Construction ($14.99), Fire Emergency ($19.99), Police - The Big Escape, Race Car Rally and Pony Farm ($29.99 each), are joined by popular licenses including Spider-Man™: Spider-Car Pursuit ($12.99), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™: Turtles™ Lair ($19.99) and Batman™: Defend the Batcave ($29.99).

Knights' Castle ($49.99) and The Princess Play Castle ($14.99) allow children to explore new kingdoms and far-off lands.

Vehicle Suitcase and House Suitcase ($24.99 each) are ideal travel companions for grab-and-go building fun.
