September 2013 - We are now SOLD OUT of Shield of Draumm (Hippo) action figures from the Four Horsemen's FANtastic Exclusive project. We still have a fair amount of Raavia the red tiger action figures available. You can find them on our eCrater storefront.
August 2013 - We are down to the last seven (7!) of the Shield of Draumm (Hippo) action figure from the Four Horsemen's FANtastic Exclusive project. These last Hippo figures are the oddballs that I've been reaching past each time I look for a figure to fill an order. They have been moving from case to pile, and pile to case, and it is finally time to say goodbye to them. They each have their own listing on our eCrater storefront, so you can get a feel for their imperfections.
We also still have a fair amount of Raavia the red tiger action figures available. They have their own listing on eCrater.
August 19, 2013 - Earlier this month, the boy got a Smurfs toy at McDonald's and loved it so much that he asked us to get him a set online, meaning from eBay. As you can see from the picture above, we did. All 16 of them. That's a lot of Smurfs! What amuses me about this is that he has no interest in the Smurfs movie, the Smurfs cartoon, or even a Smurfs book that I showed him at the library. (You know to click "read more" if you are seeing this on the front page, right?)
August 2013 - Do you still need a Shield of Draumm (Hippo) action figure from the Four Horsemen's FANtastic Exclusive project? We counted, and as of August 8th, and we have just 27 Hippo figures left. You can find them on our eCrater storefront.
All of the remaining Hippo action figures are imperfect, and the price reflects that. In addition, there is a separate eCrater listing, with an even lower price, of Hippos with loose shoulder armor pieces. (Attention customizers: once we sell through these two categories of Hippos, we have several that we will be listing individually due to multiple issues on each figure.)

Our boy is enjoying the Minions as we dole them out to him, and so far his favorite is this Evil Minion with the party noisemaker.
The neat thing about it is that there's a mouthpiece on the back, so when you blow on it, it really does make noise.
So you can imagine his disappointment when he went to McDonald's and got a Smurf figure with a party noisemaker, and... it does not make noise. It is "just" a sculpture. Poor kid. (more after the jump)

The printable coupons offer only one coupon in the toys category - 20% off a Disney's Sofia the First toy.
Cartwheel has twelve toy deals available, including these deals of interest to action figure collectors:
If you don't have a smartphone to use the Cartwheel app, you can log in via Facebook and print out a code to hand to the cashier and still get the same deals.
And for you clearance hunters, we visited our local Target on Friday the 2nd and the clearance section was marked down to 70% off. The only memorable thing at that location was Laser Pegs.

They've added a thing called Cartwheel for more coupon options. If you have it, you can "stack" the Cartwheel discounts with your regular paper coupons and also any Target-issued coupons.
Smartphone users can install the Cartwheel app and then let the cashier scan their phone, or low-tech folks (myself included) can log in via Facebook and then print out a scanner code for the cashier to use. The printout also includes a nice checklist to remind you of what exactly you've loaded onto your account, what the discount it, and when it expires.
I noticed Cartwheel when I was checking their printable coupons for new toy coupons - they had a big banner at the top of the page that all but clicked itself for me.
