April 2012 - If you were lucky enough to be at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) this past weekend, you were treated to a major unveiling! The final figures in Diamond Select Toys' Avengers toy lines were finally shown to the public, providing a detailed look at Loki's Army from the highly anticipated film!
As part of Marvel Minimates Series 45, a 2-inch minifigure of Loki's Army Footsoldier will come out in early May as part of a two-pack with Maria Hill. And be on the lookout for a rare variant set, which will pair the Footsoldier with his even more intimidating General!

Soundgarden Records First New Song in 15 Years for "Marvel's The Avengers"
END CREDIT TRACK "LIVE TO RISE" TO BE INCLUDED IN AVENGERS ASSEMBLE COMPILATION
BURBANK, Calif., March 27, 2012 -- Marvel Music/Hollywood Records announce the return of Soundgarden with the release of the band's first song in 15 years, "Live to Rise." The song will be featured in the end credits to this year's highly anticipated movie, "Marvel's The Avengers." "Live to Rise" is included on Avengers Assemble, a 14-track compilation of music from and inspired by the film. Avengers Assemble will be released on May 1, 2012.

March 2012 - You saw them at NY Toy Fair, but here are brand-new photos of the Hulk and Hawkeye from Diamond Select Toys' Marvel Select action figure line! Based on Marvel's Avengers movie, the figures were designed by Gentle Giant Studios from the likenesses of Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo as they appear in the film. Both are in Marvel Select's standard 7-inch scale, which places Hawkeye around 7 inches tall and Hulk around 9 inches tall. Each figure has 16 points of articulation for a full range of movement, and Hawkeye comes with a New York City battlefield display base, which connects with the base of the Avengers' mystery foe to form a diorama. Hulk and Hawkeye (and the mystery foe) should reach comic shops and specialty stores in May, just after the movie hits U.S. theaters.

February 21, 2012 - New York Toy Fair is over, and the Diamond Select Toys booth was a whirlwind of activity the whole time, thanks to a bunch of cool new license announcements, as well as some great reveals from their existing lines. Since the show isn't open to the public, Diamond Select was nice enough to send over some shots from around the booth, the first batch coming from their section dedicated to the Marvel universe! Avengers Minimates Assemble for the All-Star Movie Line-Up!
