Anyone have him? Is he worth it? That's as 1/3rd of a Hot Toys Bane or Black Widow...

This isn't a direct answer, but... http://www.afhub.com/dubious-dc-pricing/

So...smaller than Batman, but nearly three times as much. Wow.

For starters, that is not accurate representation. Freeze IS taller. As far as if it's worth 50 bucks.......that's all subjective to what you consider worth. It is to me. but I'm a huge batman, and Arkham series fan.

May not be to someone else.

I think my trusty ruler used in the photo is pretty accurate.

Huh. Funny how it looks like your trusty ruler is a little further back, or you have Batman a little closer forward. Perhaps to support your argument? Not to mention, you don't have them taken together. Just saying.

Yet, when I have the two figures side by side...

Now, here they are holding hands, and as you can see, Freeze is a bit taller, bulkier, and has a ridiculous amount more of paint and sculpt applications, not to mention a bigger accessory. Now, if it's the height that bothers you, let's eliminate Batman's biggest height advantage: the ears. From the top of the head (and excuse my crude line there, I did this rather quick-like), he comes up shorter than Freeze (and accurate in relation to the game).

Casimir, again, seems to think that size is relative to overall worth (maybe that says something about him. Who knows?). If you like the figure, get it. It's all subjective anyway.

And before you take me seriously, Casimir, I'm messing with you. The argument is honest, the cracks are joshes...josh's...joshs......

Looking the pics above I can only wonder one thing:

When did Abe Sapien become Mr. Freeze?!!!

I was curious as to their pricing until I had him in hand. It may not be worth $50 compared to roughly $20 of the standard figures, but he is more complex in comparison.

There's a lot more detail applied to him than others. Individual wires are painted, the hex pattern on his legs are painted on not brush-washed, there's warning symbols tampoed on in a number of places, he's got these little individual canisters along his spine that probable had to be added after the fact, the dome is removable...

But as I say, is it worth $30 more? I guess that depends on how big of a fan you are. I'm a huge Arkham / Batman fan so after buying it I was happy just to have Freeze, but really it seems like they should have cost averaged Freeze against the VERY small Mad Hatter.

Freeze is a GREAT figure, but if he absolutely HAD to be a deluxe offering because of increased production costs or whatever, I would think paying $30 at most for him would have been suitable.

(At least they gave him a simple black circle stand, which is sadly lacking (along with peg holes, for that matter) on Catwoman and Hush...)
