Just a cautionary tale regarding Amazon shipping Star Wars figures.

I just got my Vintage Tarkin and the bubble was crushed because it was shipped in a padded envelope (!?). I was hoping to display this carded as it was always a dream figure for me when I was a kid.

Not sure if I'm going to return it and try my luck at getting a figure in better condition. I may just a second figure in the same condition...

Does anybody know Amazon's customer service e-mail? It's buried somewhere in the site. Thanks. Found it!

Amazon also tends to bend and crease cards to fit them into smaller sized shipping boxes. Lately, I've been ordering quite a bit from Amazon. Everything shipped in a box (TMNT, Star Wars, WWE) has had some card damage. Surprisingly the only thing I received mint was a Star Wars figure shipped in an envelope.
I wasn't too concerned because I'm an opener but the poor shipping is a common complaint on other boards.

I've actually never had any problem with them since ordering Star Wars with them. They've always come in a box and everyone has been mint, but I also open everything up. I've never had one shipped in an envelope, but I also usually order three or more to get the free shipping.

Amazon is usually pretty good for me, in terms of taking care in the packing of figures, but not perfect. Years ago I ordered a Republic Gunship and they shipped it in its original box only, no outer protection. I complained to their CS and got a $10 gift card and an apology straight away. Hadn't had any problems again till today, with a Fourze stand set that was shoved into a too tight box and the edge of the stand packaging was damaged. Not going to complain to them about it as I was always intending on opening it and discard the packaging anyway.

It really must be a bad employee here and there, because I'm usually extremely satisfied with the amount of packing materials and care they use.
