Thanks to the WC Rocker, I got to place my order and have 2 Batmans and a Superboy Prime..and they both look awesome.

I haven't picked up a current Batman book in almost a year and a half and finally decided to give it a try after hearing rave reviews about whatever has actually changed with batman in the 52 reboot. I really dig the new costume minus underoos so I bought 2 new TPBs and they were cool.

The figure is icing on the cake. I can't say I'll buy into all the DC Reboots, but so far Batman is still dark, brooding and and pissed off which I like.

The figure itself looks great and is more realistic if that makes any sense, He has minor hints of body armor and the bat logo is sculpted..a different design than the classic oval and it looks awesome.

In fact, this Batman and the SDCC X-Force Wolverine are 2 of my figs of the year thus far. Granted, it's not the sculpting genius of the Square Enix Batman, but it also isn't $60.Get it now at BBTS or all the usual suspects.

Thanks again for the top WCR!!! You da man!

The Batman books are the only thing I'm reading from DC that I like, other than GL as Sinestro. I simply cannot bring myself to dig that Jim Lee costume, though. Some might argue that it's not that drastic a change, but I just don't like it. The shorter ears, the black/grey over the blue/grey... just not my thing. Glad you enjoy the figure, though. I was debating Prime, but I'm already starting to pare down my DCUC in preparation for the move-in with the missus...

I hear you and I felt the same..but it looks great! He looks more realistic, which is a big thing to me. Not too armored, but you can tell its not just clothe that the man is wearing and yet it's not Bale-ish armor either.

I too, just bought the JLA and GL TPB to try as Sinestro is a BOSS.

Congrats on the move...I think? lol

Not quite ready yet, but I'm thinking about things like "let's make sure this is at a reasonable level," given that both I and my stepkid have toys. And Nu52 does not have a place in that. Plus Play Arts seem to be taking up more room...

Brian, glad I could help.
I like the matty 52 Bats better due to the plastic quality and those crazy lines that look so tron-ish dont stick out like the dc direct one does.
I wish this ones head was just a bit larger but its a good figure.
I'm a bit suprised theres no "New DC 52 Designs" posted all over the packages .
