I've always wanted a true, G1 Megatron and once I saw this 3rd party version I jumped on it. The reviews were great and rightfully so.. This is more of a definitive g1 version than even mp Megs.

I know several of us are tf fans and just wanted to give a solid thumbs up. Just took the plunge in the TFC Hercules aka Devastator after finding it for a great price. Really been loving tfs lately.

Ain't he awesome? It was the Megatron I've been wanting but never got since the Classics line started.

Also on the 3rd party front, I received the first of TFC's Arielbots and finally got around to opening him today. So far he's pretty awesome. Been messing around with him for the last 30 minutes.

Good to see you D1! And glad to here the aerialbot is cool. Tfc devastator is on the way and I'm soooo stoked!

I also bought fans project springer but haven't opened him yet. Do you have any others?

He looks a lot more solid than the spindly, frustrating-as-all-get-out MP-5, that's for sure. How stable is the figure, exactly? I'm more curious than anything, as these "homage" TF's seem to be getting a lot more love than most things HasTak release lately.

Swift,
I honestly find him much more durable than theo which made me happy and saddened me at the same time. All joints are tight with the exception on the arms but that can beg resolved with some nail polish if it's really a big deal. The head is absolutely gorgeous. All it needs is One decep repro logo.. No need to go crazy.

Highly recommended.

I've been passing on third party figures, but I don't think I'll be able to resist the upcoming "Beasticons". Classics style Predacons, that's something I'll have to get in on. They're being made by a new group called Unique Toys, first figure in the lineup is "War Hawk" (aka Divebomb).

Cool! Never heard of them before. I am loving the advent of third party companies.
