I'm trying to find out if I have an original CAPTAIN ACTION ACTION FIGURE HELP!!

A few years ago I purchased an action figure online of CAPTAIN ACTION and I'm trying to find out if it is an original? Can someone tell me what to look for THANKS!

A few years ago? And you're just checking on this purchase now?

The only real question is whether you have a vintage Captain Action figure from the mid-60s, or the faithful "reproduction" released by Playing Mantis several years ago?

Somewhere on the body there should be a stamp...if it says Ideal, you have a vintage Cap.

THNKS RANN Its taken this long cause I was just going to keep it for sentimental reasons but now I'm thinking about selling him so I would like to know if he is the real thing or not! THANKS RANN!

HEY WHEELCHAIR ROCKER!
He came in the blue captain action uni and I have the original box with the free 4Ft long
parachute included with the figure!

You might have an orginial after all.I dont recall a reissue of the box with the parachutte but I could be wrong.Check to see if it says ideal like RANN suggested.

Parachute, eh? I think I had that gear in the 60s! Musta pitched Cap up on the roof a half-dozen times.

No chute repros have been released. You may have a McCoy after all!
