.

I'd love to see them succeed this time, but I think they've shot themselves in the foot by making their kickstarter campaign so brief for the amount of money they're trying to raise.

Has this been going on for a decade or more? I feel like I read about these in ToyFare around 2002-03...still the same guys trying to get them made? If so, that's really cool...

I think it was Mezco that was planning those back then.

No, Mezco made their Cryptozoology line. 4 inch scaled Jersey Devil, Bigfoot, and Mothman. A Loch Ness Monster was planned, but never released.

These guys came along around the same time, but never released them.

That's what I thought. I remember a sketch of the Mothman that looked almost exactly like the sculpt on the Kickstarter page...I haven't thought about it in years the the images triggered the memory.

Yeah, there were two lines announced right about the same time, Mezco's and Nevermore's.

Mezco's actually came out, but they had to abandon their plan for a Loch Ness Monster. A shame, I remember seeing a prototype and it was pretty cool.

Mezco's figures are great, awesome figures. I love them. But Nevermore's look more like what the creatures are supposed to look like according to legend and supposed eye witnesses.

These never came out? I could've sworn I saw them at a comic book store recently. And I don't mean the Mezco figures, because they had the "victims" that these figures show. I remember being kind of shocked to see them existing.
