I figure instead of starting a new OT thread every time I cry for attention I could just put all of my pictures in here. These pictures are my friend Christina in a virtual reality helmet I built as a prop. After sitting in my studio for six months we finally got around to playing with it. I'm pretty happy with how it looks on camera.

I love plasma balls. They are surprisingly complicated to photograph, however.
Plus, its very hard to walk if you have them. 
Love the VR pics. With the red hair and crazy helmet she reminds me of Ed from Cowboy Bebop.

Wow, I can only imagine how long it would take to set up a single shot of a plasma ball. It's glass, reflective and translucent at the same time, AND you actually want to capture what's inside of it which is colored light, meaning if you hit it with a flash it'll become harder to see.

At least ten minutes of tweaking. The plasma ball doesn't give off a lot of light so I had to dial the flashes way down to not overpower it. Then I had to slow the exposure down to compensate so I had to lock the camera down to prevent blurring.

The guy posts unique photos and is upfront about wanting to share his work. What's the problem with that? He's good at what he does and is proud of it.
The models in the photos are wearing more than most you'd see at the Sports Illustrated site.
I thought a big part of this site upgrade was so, when you spoke, you owned it. But we still get drive by cowardly bullshit remarks like that with no name on them?

On a completely unrelated note, Bobbi, can we punt this thread to the OT forum?
The site upgrade wasn't to eliminate anonymous posts. The primary reason was to allow more reader interaction as we roll out new features (like blogs or the ability to post your own reviews).
We felt it was important to allow anonymous posting but to encourage registration. Non-registered users don't get the benefit of no captcha for the forum. Non-registered users will not get to access many features as they are added in the future.
As far as owning your comments goes, you can register here (and just about any forum) with a gmail or hotmail account and fake name and then post. Registration doesn't prevent drive-by throw-away comments.
I will speak with Bobbi about how to move this to the OT forum.

I don't take anything posted anonymously too seriously, as everyone knows this is a Reg Forum. There are no more excuses...no reasons not to step up and register, if you want to contribute here. Anyone continuing to post negatively at this point without identifying themselves is basically telling the world they are a coward or afraid to publicly express themselves. Just my opinion.
I post a lot more on my Facebook and Tumblr pages. I don't get here with politically correct photos enough.
