Yeah they will sit for that price. I was thinking anywhere between 50 to 70 but OVER $100??? Wow

Still cheaper than that new Star Wars MTT tank. $140 on that.
$140 was the price of the G.I. Joe Defiant space shuttle playset back in the day.
I'm not into TMNT but saw the playset and was glad to see a company w/o the star wars license have a set enough to make a good, large playset. It seems fans of every line cry out for playsets and then cry out about the price when the company takes the chance. (Star War fans excluded.) At least in this case the playset looks good and in my book, seems worth the $100+ price tag.
Be a fan and support your line unless you feel the playset is not good. This set would have most likely ran between $90-$100 this time last year, but in a world were DC universe and GI Joe figures have increased nearly 50% in price in the last 6 months, $119 seems right on par for toy aisle increases.
I'm sure the price point at Toys R Us will be 150-170. For 100 I would be all over this
True It looks good and probably worth the price but I cant spend and additional 100 plus on something for a line. Im sure these will be on clearence next Christmas. The last sewer playset they had was pretty decent and under 100 bucks, I think it was 50? I also remember the Gi Joe Shuttle being only $100 at TRU back in the day as was the Flagg. Anything over that would have been far to expensive back then.
You've been awfully whiney and full of complaints lately, bro. Perhaps scale it back a bit?

I too remember the 99.99 sticker on my Joe Shuttle.
My prediction is that this playset will be at Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshalls type stores for $50-60, at Target for $40 and Walmart for $YMMV after Christmas.
Dear Anonymous (go figure),
Cute. Honestly. But, show me an example of one post where I'm whiney or complain about something. Sorry......asking Bobbi if we will be ridding this place of people like you doesn't count.
Then perhaps maybe your cutesy little cartoon might hold some merit.
Blanka if that was directed to me forgive me. I apologize. I thought this was a place for everyone to share their opinions and what not. For complaining sure I have a right toy to, companies are jacking the prices up on everything and its rediculous, 10 bucks for a Star Wars figure, almost 20 for a Marvel Legends 20 for Heman and over 100 bucks for playsets, its enough to make one sick. As for me being negative sure when I get screwed over by a company (Matty) and it involves money (which is tight at the moment, got to limit my options) Im going to complain. Looks like this isnt the place to do it at.
PS HOW is there unregisterd people in here?????
I'm not saying NOT to complain, dude. You have every right. But you just usually seem like a happy go-lucky dude........and I've seen nothing BUT complaints from ya lately. That's all I'm saying. Go back to happy go-lucky Ashy.
Sounds good will do!! Sometimes it takes a reality check to set things right!! Thanx man!
Come on Blanka, Ash is just expressing his opinion and, as we all do, we have a love/hate relationship with the toy companies that usually is cyclical in nature. I found all his recent comments grounded, on topic, and not excessively "whinny." I know when money is tight for me, I get a little more grumpy with the toy companies.
My gut instinct is that Amazon will Christmas clearance this one at some point.
Price is an issue, but it does look worth it, at least compared to everything else on the shelves these days. My big problem is space; I'm really tempted, as I have both of the previous sewer playsets, but I just don't have a place for it. It does look like a really well done set, though.
