None of the Toy Fair galleries I've looked through have anything for the John Carter movie. Did anyone see anything?

I hope Tron: Legacy didn't scare Disney off from getting a toy license out there.

Personally, I would love a Tars Tarkas figure! Smile

If anything it would be Prince of Persia. I think the best John Carter fans can hope for at this point is that the movie is a hit and someone makes toys after the fact like NECA with the first Pirates of the Caribbean.

Considering this movie is expected to LOSE $100 million dollars for Disney, I'd say no.

You know what else was expected to be a huge flop?

Pirates of the Caribbeann.

Oh man. Totally forgot about Prince of Persia. LOL! I still see the toys on clearance.

I would love NECA to do them, even after the fact. Or, somebody doing a John Carter Unleashed, a la the great Star Wars line Hasbro did. I still have those on my shelf, and they remain some of my favorites.

I just saw the movie - it is a major missed opportunity that there are no toys. Kids are going to want some after they see it.

The premiere was here yesterday in LA. better than expected. I haven't forgotten all the hate I've received here in the past so don't expect a full review here from me.

Ohhh, come on. You're going to be angry at the lot, for a few rotten apples? Don't be childish, man.

I suppose if you take the smaller-scale Prince of Persia figure from the McFarlane playsets and put him in the Star Wars Geonosian Arena Playset, you'll have something approximate.
