2 local Walmarts have clearances for the vintage SWs at $4.00. The Hartland, Mi had the new case with the
deleted scene 5 figures on the pegs. I scanned the new ones and no price; took a peg sticker up to checkout
and actually got the five deleted figures for $4.00 each. Sweet deal. It's worth the effort.
A third Walmart I stopped at didn't have the clearance stickers, nor did they have any Vintage SW anyway.

I picked up VC87 Luke and VC89 Lando at Wal-Mart today. Awesome figures, though I hate Luke's cloak (but that's an easy fix). :b

I agree about the cloaks.....the Leia I picked up looks more like a piece of cloth with a head
the way it is packed; I'm not an openner, but will be okay unless I find one that has a
better in-package presentation.

Saw them, they didn't scan. Didn't want to wait to find out they were 8.99.

Saw them in Houston tonight. They didn't scan, but I took up a $4 Rebel Commando with the sticker on the figure to see if they would sell them to me at that price. They did not, so I left them there. Ah, well.

Same here; found them, brought them to the checkout, and the checker had to put each one in individually with the price (I fortunately had a Naboo Guard from the previous wave in the bunch who was ringing up). Apparently, whoever was supposed to put them in the main system just didn't (sounds like it wasn't just the individual stores not doing, but the whole chain that was affected). Couldn't be a street date problem, as that usually comes up as a recall.

That is my favorite Luke figure hands down.

When I went to pay, they did not show up in the system. They asked me how much they were and I told them they were ringing up at other WM's for $4.00 and that's what I was hoping to pay and they said "ok" and gave them to me as such.

Thanks for the heads up!

Found Lando and Colonel Cracken (who?) at two seperate Wal-Marts. Going to be tricky finding Leia and Luke, but if collecting Star Wars has taught me anything, it's patience!

My pleasure Scott!

With gas prices reportedly heading to $5 a gallon in the near future, we need to network and keep each other informed.

I was just at the Independence, KS Walmart and I initially picked up Maul and the new Lando. I went and scanned Maul to see if it was still clearanced. No dice. I go back to the aisle and spot that they are restocking GI Joe for the first time since ROC ended. I grab Sci Fi and put down Maul. First mistake.

The Vintage figures were just stuck on abandoned hooks because they weren't there for the reset. One of the hooks was blank and the other says Star Wars Masks $9.96. When I get up front Lando won't scan and they ask for a price check. She goes back and sees that the figures are on a hook marked $9.96 and gives that as the price. I try politely to explain the problem and she won't budge so I left him and just got Sci Fi.

I'll head to another store soon and hopefully find Lando still marked down. Or at least wait a while til they get the price fixed and buy him at the right price. $9 stings bad enough. Paying the $1 fee for Walmart not doing their job right is just not happening.

Found these at TRU (Pleasant Hill, CA) yesterday or the day before. Not clearanced, but they were B2G1, which was almost as good!

I posted this over at rebelscum, so I figured I'd post it here too. :b

Here's VC87 Luke with VC05 (Bespin) Luke's hands and VC23 (Endor Capture) Luke's head - aka my favorite Star Wars figure ever.
