I'm a little surprised it took DC so long to do a huge multi-colored Lanterns arc. I'm pretty sure that idea's been kicked around since at the very least the 1980s. :b

The Rules --- Please Read!
1. A player may answer one question per update. If a player correctly answers more than one, he or she will be credited with the lowest-point question correctly answered (and any other answers will be up for grabs).
2. If two or more people correctly answer a question and their posts have the exact same timestamp, they'll both get full credit for it.
3. An edit time counts as the time an answer was posted, so be sure to be careful when editing a post.
4. I screw up the scores sometimes, so just tell me if I didn't award you points when I should have (or otherwise messed up), and I'll fix it ASAP. And I don't have any set time when I update this; I just do it whenever I have time to. :b

Might as well ride this pony straight off the cliff.
In all fairness, the Skittle Lanterns probably aren't as problematic as the wildly unappreciated Captain Scarlet & the agents of SPECTRUM, by Gerry Anderson, of Space:1999 fame.
(The vintage puppet & recent CGI versions of Captain Scarlet are both very EXCELLENT! Those puppets have to be seen to be believed!)
At any rate, as one might surmise, each SPECTRUM agent (any there are hundreds) has a color-coded designation—and matching accessories, of course—from pistols to parachutes). Never saw that coming! This coded convention works pretty well, as long as one doesn't stray too far from the familiar primaries...
...but before too long, one will have to encounter Captains Magenta, Lavender, Chartreuse, Puce...not to mention some of these winners:

I'm gonna hang up on hosting for the summer (if anyone else wants to host, I'll play), but I'll start up another game thread of some sort (maybe a "What the heck is that?" 20 questions game since I have hundreds upon hundreds of pics of weird, obscure things) around the middle of August, when I'm chained back up in front of a computer screen again.
Thanks for playing everyone, hope you enjoyed it. =)
Many thanks for your time, imagination & attention. It's been fun!
I echo Rann with thanks.
And as the winner I'll handle running the next round. Just need a week or so to throw some stuff together
Jon, as always huge thanks for making the internet fun with your incredibly well crafted games. Hope you are around enough during the next round to be a challenge but not constantly beating me to the punch like Colossus Prime.
Hopefully with the way work is cracking down on computer use, I'll even be able to compete and I don't go the way of Dr Evil.
