So my brother was doing some shopping and decided to go to go by Toys R Us (Waterford Connecticut). And he said the MIB 3 figure were out, he didnt realize there was another BIB movie coming out.

He said the price was $9.99 for the 3 3/4 figures. There was only 4 figures in the wave he had seen. Will Smith, 2 other MIB guys, and an alien,

Thought I would post this sighting

I've been looking forward to these as customizing fodder for G.I.Joes, but 9.99, ouch. I'd love to see some pics with Joe figs to check the scale, etc... anyone?

I saw these today as well. I saw 5 single figures: J, K, Some Chineese guy with a slug lower body (I think he was called Mr Wu?) the bad guy (looks like a grizzly homeless guy missing half an arm) and another alien, human looking body wearing a sportcoat, but the head was odd shaped and had MOTU Mantenna-like eyes (No action feature on the eyes)

J & K looked to have ball jointed head & shoulders, single hinge elbows & knees and maybe swivel wrists and feet. I assume the hips also move but the coats were in the way of the joints.

Also saw the deluxe sets J, K and the bad guy, figures looked exactly like the single packed figures. I think the prices was $14.99 or so. The thing that stood out to me was how much Jakks Pacific's packaging looked like Mattel's Green Lantern Deluxe packaging.

I was impressed when I saw that they had role-play items that changed into vehicles for the figures. Don't think I'll be getting any at full price, but if I see the Neuralizer on clearance cheap enough, then I probably will snag that one.

I'm pretty happy with the Happy Meal Neuralizer from years ago which was too small but at least was vac metal and actually lights up. I think in addition to these being poorly sculpted, it's a big mistake not to capitalize on the aliens, especially series staples like Frank the Pug and the Worm guys, who everybody knows have to appear in the new film, common sense-wise. They shoulda been pack-ins to entice kids to buy the boring guys in suits.

Looks like they are capitalizing on Frank the Pug.....just not for the action figure line Smile

Talking Frank the pug

As far as the sculpting on the figures, it's not bad, just ok. The only thing that's really bad on these figures is the same thing that's bad on a lot of toys this year....the price. I've just gotten used to paying $6-$8 for a 3 3/4" figure and now everyone has them all priced around $10!
