Lex Luthor in his power armor is one of my favorite concepts in all of nerdom for reasons with which I will not bore you. I love the DCSH armored Luthor overall, but I've never been in love with the head sculpt, or the fact that it differs from the supervillain/Superfriends DCUC Luthor head.

Fixed that today.

Bought two DCUC Orange Lantern Luthors. One is still MOC, waiting to become a business suit Lex Luthor once Black Mask arrives. I put the head from the other on the DCSH armored Lex and it makes a huge difference. Not only does it unify my Luthors; they're both definitely the same guy in different costumes now, the new wider, slightly bigger, head on the armored Lex makes the overall proportions of the figure a lot better. Between the head sculpt's expression and the better proportions, the armored Lex is a much more imposing, cooler figure now.

I hoped I would like the results of the head switch, but I didn't think it would boost my appreciation for a figure I already love as much as it did.

Very cool.

Since this thread sparked such rigorous debate the first time, I thought I'd resurrect it.

I've never liked the DCUC Superman head. Even the DCSH one is better, I think. This week, I picked up a DCUC New 52 Superman specifically for the head and it really works on the regular (actual?) Superman body. I was afraid the flesh-colored head wouldn't work with the painted neck and hands, but it looks great. Really happy with it.

Would still like to see the lighter blue Superman released, but...
