Haven't seen the jet yet, but I saw and got Hawkeye, Hulk, Loki and the new Thor.

Pretty happy with them. Hulk should be bigger, but I like having a different looking Hulk in the 3 3/4 scale.

Hey Red- Which Hawkeye did you find and which store?

We didn't get the Quinjet here and they majorly jumped the gun on figures and I missed getting to see any but Thor and Iron Man locally. Only one I'm really concerned about is finding the movie Hawkeye and we really have no clue when he's coming or in what wave.

It was the masked version. In other words, not the movie version. Two of the 3 Walmarts near me had that wave. The Hulk and Loki wave was at Kmart and they did not have Hawkeye, but did have the wavy hair Thor.

Yes, thank you. It does help. Means that I don't need to worry about tracking down Hawkeye yet. But it does mean that I have to worry that Hasbro won't even make the wave he's in available ala the Warriors Three and Sif though.

I found the Ultimate Hawkeye at WalMart today. Around here it seemed Target got the Series 2 case assortment and WalMart got the Series 1 case assortment.

Snagged a few new Avengers figs myself over the weekend:

Ultimate Hawkeye (comic)

So far my ONLY complaint about these figures is the lack of torso/waist articulation. It's the one joint that I actually miss. However, aside from that these figures are all pretty darned nice. Sadly the $8.99 price point at TRU hurts more than just a little.

Knock on wood that movie Widow and movie Hawkeye hit shelves soon! I've got my eyes out of them!

The mid torso joint is so overrated. They often get loose, not to mention the fact that it breaks up with the torso sculpt with that ugly separation. A simple cut waist achieves almost the same type of poseability with none of the drawbacks.

Waist articulation would have been nice, but I'm surprsed they don't have ankle articulation. I mean what's the point of the hip & upper thigh articulation if you can't move the feet to balance them in more action type poses?

I picked up Hawkeye this morning....he's masked and actually looks like a bad guy.

Sadly, I'm just not excited about the movie, but the toys sure seem cool despite some of the missing articulation.

I'm just the opposite. I'm crazy excited for the movie, but w/the exception of the Quinjet & Mini Muggs, I have ZERO interest in the toys.

Seriously man-- that new trailer completely blew me away. Cap, Thor, Iron Man-- all on the big screen together fighting "not Skrulls"?

I honestly think that this is going to the film to beat for me this summer-- and that's ahead of things like Joe: Retaliation, Spider-man, and Batman 3. (I really don't like Dark Knight so I have a hard time getting excited for more Christ figure symbolism Batman again.)

C'mon-- give it a chance! Heck, I'll refund your ticket $$ if you hate it. (You're springing for popcorn on your own.)

Here's the thing....I loved Iron Man 1 &2....I enjoyed Captain America and Thor. The combination of them all on screen just doesn't seem as exciting for some reason. I am more stoked for Dark Knight Rises.

I wanted to like Cap more....but actually wound up liking Bucky more.

Avengers is what pretty much started it all for me in comics collecting so I'm hugely excited for the film.

But on the other hand, where I wish I could love the toys, it seems Hasbro is experimenting with how far backward they can slide with the stuff they are putting out and still get people to buy it. What is the logic in cranking out such inferior toys (primarily the large scale figures)? I believe that Thor, Iron Man and Cap all had large scale figures of their own that were better articulated than the stuff they are hitting us with for Avengers. Why do new tools just to make terrible toys? And even the smaller figures look like they skimped on articulation just to keep the crappy oversized accessories? Do kids even play with those? My son is 6 and never does.

And it is supremely disappointing that we aren't getting a single unique character from the comics style line when there are so many that could be done.

Wait, 8.99 at TRU? Since when is TRU cheaper than Target?
